Literacy4All We understand literacy as a plural ability that makes "reading the world" possible.

Literacy provides individuals with the instruments necessary to become agents of change in their lives, families and communities. We:
•Design and implement innovative educational projects based on learning games to improve the quality of education; understood not only in terms of academic improvement, but also in terms of self-esteem, democratic behaviors, peaceful coexistence, and the ability to work collaboratively in groups.
•Adaptation and articulation of literacy skills to a variety of intersecting areas: the environment, health and nutrition, citizenship and democratic participation, gender equality, new technologies, among others.
•Monitoring and follow-up with projects.
•Professional education and training workshops for education and community agents.

LEMA -Laboratorio de Lectura, Escritura y Matemática - (Literacy Education and Math Lab), is a model that supports school age children 1st to 4th grade. The model also provides much needed support to school teachers by bringing Learning Coaches every day for an hour to play, share, develop and create knowledge in 5 important areas: reading, writing, math, reflection and relationships.

Unlike newer subjects such as coding or technology, literacy and numeracy are often taught in traditional ways. In order for us to make the most of the tools we have available to us today, and the knowledge gained from research into child development, we need to give both of these areas a shake-up to make them engaging for contemporary children.
