Norwood-Fontbonne Academy Norwood-Fontbonne Academy is a co-educational independent Catholic school for pre-k through grade 8.

Norwood-Fontbonne Academy offers dual path primary and Montessori programs for ages 3 to 8, an intermediate program for grades 4 and 5, and an innovative middle school for grades 6 to 8. At NFA, children from a diverse and inclusive community of families come together for an independent school experience like no other. Inspired by the mission of the Sisters of Saint Joseph that "all may be one," our students cultivate unity with God, their "dear neighbor," the school, and each other. We empower students through a self-directed approach to learning that permeates beyond our classrooms. Here, students own their education and explore their potential as they're challenged to shape a more compassionate and socially responsible society. Norwood-Fontbonne Academy graduate Sam Brown ‘18 rushed for a career-high 109 yards on 15 carries and scored a career-best three touchdowns (two rushing, one receiving) in his debut for Temple University this afternoon in Toledo. He also caught three passes for 27 yards, including a touchdown with two seconds remaining in the first half.

The NFA Class of 2029 spent a wonderful day of growth, discovery, faith, and friendship at Lacawac Sanctuary Field Station and Environmental Education Center.🌿

During today’s retreat, our sixth grade students learned about watersheds, built stronger relationships through team-building activities, and even hit the water for some canoeing! 🚣‍♀️

The experience was a meaningful opportunity to deepen our understanding of what it means to Treasure the Earth and laid the foundation for the service-learning work students will take on throughout the school year. Throughout the academic year, we will be serving locally with Martha’s Community Farm.

A special thanks to Mrs. Canuso, Mr. McKenzie, Miss Sheridan, and Dr. Stotz for leading this memorable experience for our students! 💛 💙

We're looking forward to welcoming our sixth, seventh, and eighth grade parents tonight AS WELL as parents of students in the Stone House and White House.

Our evening will begin in Sister James Anthony Hall Gym at 6:30pm. Parents should go right to SJAH Gym after parking.

Additional parking can be found next door at the Presbyterian Church of Chestnut Hill.

Our Fall High School Admissions Series is underway! We were proud to welcome our friends from Gwynedd Mercy Academy High School this morning as part of our ongoing partnership with area high schools.

Our parents as well as our seventh and eighth grade students had the opportunity to learn more about Gwynedd Mercy Academy High School, while we also had the chance to catch up with four NFA alumnae who are now current GMA students.

Partnerships like these reflect the strong relationships NFA builds with high schools throughout the region, and the value our graduates bring to their next school community.
