La Salle’s COAMFTE-accredited Marriage and Family degree trains students to evaluate and treat mental, emotional, and behavioral disorders and a wide array of relationship issues within the context of the individual and/or the family system. Coming soon to the Emory Conference Center in Atlanta, GA - https://societyofclinicalpsychology.org/scp-events/scp-conference/ ...a weekend focused on emerging trends, technological advancements, and issues related to cultural sensitivity, inclusivity, and ethics in clinical psychology. Students, trainees, and clinical psychologists of all career stages and specializations are encouraged to attend. The conference will offer CEs and programming for clinically and academically-focused professionals who work in a wide range of settings.

Annual Diversity Forum will take place TONIGHT! It will be held 5-7:30pm in Founder’s Hall. The topic of discussion is Racial Trauma.

We want to make sure everyone is aware that the Annual Diversity Forum will take place TONIGHT, Wed 11/9 5-7:30pm in Founder’s Hall. The topic of discussion is Racial Trauma. We are thrilled to have as our speaker Dr. Howard Stevenson, who is a nationally recognized clinical psychologist and researcher on negotiating racial conflicts and a leading expert on the topic of racial trauma. Dr. Stevenson is the Executive Director of Racial Empowerment Collaborative at the University of Pennsylvania, designed to promote racial literacy in education, health, and community institutions. There will be a student poster session 5-6pm with a light dinner and then the speaker 6ish-7:30pm.
