This weekend, PGPS was proud to be out in the community as a sponsor at the 2026 Philly School Fair hosted by Elevate 215 !📚

We had a great time connecting with Philadelphia families, sharing more about PGPS, and talking with parents and community members about ways to stay informed and engaged in public education across the city.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by our table, spoke with us, collected school supplies, and learned more about our work. We’re always excited for opportunities to connect with the communities we serve!

The Philadelphia Board of Education is holding an Action Meeting next Thursday (9/24). On the agenda are school facilities and infrastructure projects, District contracts, and other general business affecting Philadelphia schools.

Community members can attend in person at 440 N. Broad St. or watch the meeting virtually on the School District’s website at http://philasd.org/pstv/watch, Comcast Channel 52, or Verizon Fios Channel 20.

This weekend, PGPS was proud to be out in the community connecting with Philadelphia families!

We were glad to sponsor and join Chairman Jordan Harris ( PA State Rep Jordan A. Harris ) for a community event where we handed out school supplies, met with parents and families, and shared more about PGPS and the ways community members can stay informed and engaged in public education.
