Let me clarify something for ALL the Philadelphia Public/Charter High School Students. There are less than 10 High Schools that will legitimately prepare you to score well on the SAT/ACT and therefore improve your potential to get a scholarship to a "decent" college. Stop fooling yourselves. I have seen too many "good" students that attend "bad" schools continue to score below "College-Ready" all the meanwhile your school leaders are telling you that the test isn't a good indicator of college success. Well, when you get accepted and have to take out ten of thousands of dollars in loans to attend, make sure you get that school leader to pick up the bill.

ONLY 1 out of 8 Philadelphia Public High Schools are graduating students that are, on average, “College Ready”, as compared to 9 out of 10 Montgomery County Suburban High Schools!

Did you know that there are approximately 71 Public/Charter High Schools in Philadelphia and that,combined, these schools ONLY average a 916 out of 1600 on the SAT. Furthermore, ONLY 9 out of 71 of the High Schools average an SAT score of 1010 or more, which is the National Benchmark for "College Readiness".
