Posting for a family...

Looking for someone with at least 3 years experience to watch a 4 year old boy. Hours are 2:30-6pm, Mon-Fri. You would be responsible for picking up from school, which is walking distance from home and keeping him entertained with games, activities, etc., until the mom returns. A car and full time availability in the summer is a plus.

Thank you in advance!

Has anyone else been struggling with the lack of routine during the holiday season 🙋🏻‍♀️? Although these past few weeks have be filled with traveling, celebrating, and family parties one part of our day that always stays the same is our morning routine.

Transitions are a difficult time for most children so creating a visual routine chart is a great way to help your child be successful and self-reliant in their day-to-day lives. A morning routine chart encourages your child to prepare for their day on their own, without being guided every step of the way.

"Toddlers thrive on regular rhythm. They like the predictability of knowing what is happening now and what is coming next. It provides them with a feeling of safety and security."
- Simone Davis (The Montessori Toddler)

Tricks for creating your own routine chart at home:
1️⃣ Decide what tasks are the most important part of your child's morning routine.
2️⃣ Create a chart listing the steps in order from left to right. For non-reading children, provide photos or pictures of each step.
3️⃣ Display the chart and talk through it. Encourage your child to choose a location to display the chart. Provide reminders as your child is learning, "I see you have finished eating breakfast. Let's go check the chart and see what is next!"
4️⃣ Gradually release responsibility. Slowly prompt your child less, "Go check and see what's next in your morning routine." Rather than praising your child with a simple "Good job!" try reflecting on what your child did, "You got dressed without me having to remind you! You must have checked the chart!"

Nannies/Babysitters Available ❤️

Hi everyone! My name is Rasheedah Waters and I’m posting for any families looking for full time and part time care! Since 2013 I have provided in home care for families throughout Pennsylvania! Due to many referrals, I had more families than I could handle on my own, so I began looking for other individuals like me! I started a small company and we currently have a few nannies/babysitters who are looking for families in need childcare for their little ones. All nannies/babysitters have their clearances, are first aid and CPR certified, have a number of awesome references and some are bilingual (for those interested in a bilingual experience)! Some have degrees and/or credits in education. All clearances, certificates and references have been checked and will be provided to you as well! They love children and are passionate about providing safe, interactive and reliable care to your little ones!

A little more about me...

I have a bachelors degree with a minor in Early Childhood Education. I have been a Kindergarten and pre school teacher in a Christian school, I provide group care for families participating in doula training and breastfeeding class, the last 5 years I have been providing full time and part time care to infants and children in their homes, I worked at William Penn Charter School as an after school teacher this past, I have a one year old son and the list goes on....

We are all trustworthy, reliable, and very experienced! Please feel free send us a PM if you are interested in an interview with a nanny ❤️❤️.

We also assist in writing out contracts for all families!
