Spring is just around the corner when you hear the sounds of Pennsylvania’s smallest frog -- the spring peeper!
Although calling occurs mostly at night, unseasonably warm temperatures can trigger day-long calling.
Listen for spring peepers at state parks in wetlands, wet meadows, creek and lake edges, and swamps.
