Program Spotlight: Katherine Mutschler
Today, we follow a “Day in the Life” of Graduate Assistant Katherine Mutschler, who works at the Academy of Natural Sciences ( ). For most of Winter Quarter, she did her part on the new exhibit Botany of Nation, open March 28th 2026. This summer, she is doing an internship at The Banes Foundation ( ), as well as being a visitor associate at The Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts ( ) . We are so excited and proud for Katherine! Keep shining!

We are so happy for and to attend the opening night for “Botany of Nations” ! Thank you to Riley Watson and Katherine Mutschler for their help with the exhibit on top of being full time students of the program!
With the help of students were able to get a hands on look at the exhibit planning process through the marketing class as well!

A huge congratulations to for presenting her thesis “Thriving on The Fringe: How international fringe festivals impact artists, their work and their cities” on February 13th! The department is proud of everything y have achieved! A huge congratulations to everyone else who has completed heir thesis and is implementing their research in the world!

Shoutout to for presenting her Thesis on February 13th at Westphal Creates! The program is so proud of her and all our other amazing students who have finished their thesis this quarter!

- This exhibition runs October 22, 2025 through October 16, 2026. The Drexel family has made their mark on society since Francis Martin Drexel first picked up a paint brush. This exhibition explores the contributions of the Drexel family from the 1820s to the 1930s, to honor the women and men who dare to build institutions and communities from the ground up.This exhibition was curated by Gina Monahan, Museum Leadership ‘25.
