Thoughts on this????He also that received seed among the thorns is he that heareth the word; and the care of this world, and the deceitfulness of riches, choke the word, and he becometh unfruitful. So worldy acceptance/ desires kinda mute those whom hear / somewhat desire/ follow / allow pic and choose "Do the will of MY Father" commandments.
Rant time they say mormons r so nice and happy and helpful no they r the most judgemental people I have ever met they r so self centered and full of pride which is one of the seven deadly sins. I was born into the mormon church and I went to church every sunday I went to every meeting for youth. Did home teaching did baptism for the dead I did it all but when I was down and living in my car. I called the church and asked for help for food and i was told what do you want us to buy you a house so you can cook it and they hung up. So while all these so called great people that think there better then everyone else you will be judged one day. It states in the bible THE BIBLE that anyone who adds or takes away from the bible will burn in a river of fire and that's exactly what the mormons did they added on to the bible and while Joseph smith is burning in tht river of fire I will be getting judge for wat I have done in life not for going against the bible. There is no ain't against dating before 16 there is no sin against drinking tea there is no sin against coffee all the mormon church is is a scam for money and for power and that's all it will ever be. The only unforgivable sin is not believing and if mormons would study the bible they would understand that. So before any mormon wants to look down on me for not being one of them why dont you look at yourself in the mirror because I guarantee someone covered in tattoos that doesn't attend church every sunday would help someone in need before a mormon does.
Hello i am the angel of the church of Philadelphia Ap 3-7
My wife, father-in-law, and I spent 5 days last week in the city where I served my mission 28 years ago. We ended our vacation with a temple session there. What a wonderful blessing to the people of the City of Brotherly Love to have a House of the Lord downtown. 🙂👍🏽
Can anyone tell me the address of the visitor center that right next to Temple that has rooftop garden?? Thanks.
Now I wish I could see it in person

“The more we serve. . . the more substance there is to our souls. . . . Indeed, it is easier to ‘find’ ourselves because there is so much more of us to find!” - D. Todd Christofferson

Jesus Christ set the ultimate example of selfless service. In this original short film, we meet people discovering the power of living that simple principle.

We are all a little broken, that’s how light gets in. ~ Ernest Hemingway

I Can Do All Things

Keep your eyes on your dreams, however distant and far away. Live to see the miracles of repentance and forgiveness, of trust and divine love that will transform your life today, tomorrow, and forever. That is a New Year’s resolution I ask you to keep. - Jeffrey R. Holland

When we turn to Jesus Christ, we are able to do things we never dreamed were possible—or survive things we hoped we'd never have to face.

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints

Please join us for the live broadcast of the First Presidency Christmas Devotional tonight at 8pm (EST).

“At this Christmas season … let us give the gift of love, the gift of service to those around us, and the true gift of forgiveness. For as we repent, the Holy One of Israel forgives us. I testify that He lives. He is the King of kings, the Prince of Peace, our Savior, our Redeemer, and our Friend.”

- Cristina B. Franco, 2nd Counselor in the Primary General Presidency

Watch the video “The Reason Behind Christmas.”

“The sweetest gift given at Christmas will always be the one our Savior Himself gave us: His perfect peace. … Even in a world where peace seems far off, the Savior’s gift of peace can live in our hearts regardless of our circumstances. If we accept the Savior’s invitation to follow Him, lasting fear is forever banished.”

- L. Whitney Clayton

Watch the video “Peace in Christ.”

[12/05/19]   “Let us make Christmas real. It isn’t just tinsel and ribbon, unless we have made it so in our lives. Christmas is the spirit of giving without a thought of getting. It is happiness because we see joy in people. It is forgetting self and finding time for others. It is discarding the meaningless and stressing the true values. It is peace because we have found peace in the Savior’s teachings. It is the time we realize most deeply that the more love is expended, the more there is of it for others.”

- President Thomas S. Monson (1927–2018)
