Our daycare has five little ducklings, and they have quickly become everyone’s favorite little friends! 🐥💛

Our children have been loving the opportunity to help care for them while learning all about ducks, how they grow, what they eat, and how to be gentle and kind with animals. It’s been such a wonderful hands-on learning experience filled with excitement, curiosity, and lots of smiles.

They may not always be in a perfect row, but that’s okay—we love each and every one of our five little duckies just the way they are! 🦆💕 Watching our little learners interact with them has been an unforgettable experience, and we can’t wait to share more of their adventures with you!

🦋 On Monday, we held our annual butterfly release! 🦋

Each year, our PHLPreK and school-age classes learn about the incredible life cycle of butterflies and experience the exciting hatching process firsthand.

Unfortunately, our beautiful butterflies weren’t quite ready in time for all of our PHLPreK friends to participate in the release. But this week, our older toddlers, PreK summer class, and school-age children gathered together to celebrate this special moment.

Watching the butterflies spread their wings and fly away was a wonderful opportunity to reflect on growth, change, and new beginnings. We are so proud of our little learners for their curiosity and excitement throughout this experience!

Today we had a taco-tastic time celebrating Cinco de Mayo! 🌮 Ms. Melissa read Dragon’s First Taco and brought a fun “build-a-taco” sensory experience to every classroom.

We talked about tacos, read about tacos, and of course… made our own tacos! Taco ‘bout a great day filled with learning, laughter, and lots of delicious fun! 🎉

Our babies had a dino-mite time today! 🦖🦕 They stomped along with the dinosaurs, making fun prints with each big step. So many smiles and lots of creative exploring as they brought their little dinosaur adventures to life!
