The SU staff and faculty are currently seeing speculation and theories on what happened with the elections and why the Democrats lost so badly. Everyone has their pet causes they are touting as “the reason” it went down the way it did and then what the Democrats can do to fix it.

The answer is far less complicated and far harder to face or to do anything about.

The majority of Americans are just s**tty people.

This majority of s**t either voted for Trump or chose not to vote at all. They have decided that the rights and safety of their fellow citizens are not as important as the possibility of slightly lower prices…promises of which are most certainly lies.

They are fine with voting for a racist
They are fine for voting with a convicted felon
They believe that s man who has been a financial disaster for decades will save the economy.
They are fine voting for a fascist
They are fine voting for the candidate endorsed by the K*K

This list just goes on and on and on….

The only explanation is they are just objectively s**tty people.
