The Albatross
Living in harmony. The Albatross is located in the historic Tulpehocken section of northwest Philadelphia. This lovely mansion was built in 1889 by Joseph Perot.
The Albatross was also home to Dr. Martin Brumbaugh who was superintendent of the Philadelphia schools and Pennsylvania’s 26th governor. The Albatross is situated on three quarters of an acre of beautifully manicured lawns and gardens that surround a stone terrace. The current stewards of the Albatross are educators and social workers. There are rescued critters sharing the house with the humans. We are certain that you will enjoy your stay at the Albatross and we look forward to your arrival.
