Shout-out to former WWC wrestler Gavin Robbins on his 6th place finish at Keystone States in the 13/14 year old division! Gavin joined us in 2020 as a 9 year old. Although Gavin didn't initially always get success on on the mat, he kept grinding. He spent a lot of time both on the mat and in the weight room getting 1% better each day! More importantly, Gav has been a leader by example and his sportsmanship and character make him a Warrior for life! Congrats Gav!

99% of people will never grasp what it truly takes to succeed in this sport. Showing up for in-season practices, giving 80% effort most of the time, or wrestling just to hang out with friends isn’t enough.

It demands year-round commitment, embracing the physical and mental grind, making the right choices when no one’s watching, pushing far beyond your comfort zone, and holding yourself accountable. All the same qualities that build strong, respectable people.

These boys are living proof to every wrestler on the Williamson team and in our youth/JH program that you can become elite coming from a small school like ours.

Congratulations, boys. We’re incredibly proud of you!

History was made for our program this season. That said, wait to see what we do next season!

Congratulations Zan and Lukey, both will wrestle in Hershey this Thursday, Friday and Saturday for the PIAA AA Crown.

Hunter’s HS wrestling career came to an end this weekend, blood round. Hugs and tears are always shared in these moments (mostly coaches). None the less, Hunter ended his career with the 3rd most wins in school history! 🔥

We are extremely proud of all 3 boys and looking forward to next weekend!
