Make Music This Spring! – Recorder Class for Kids (Ages 4–10)
Offered through Mt. Airy Learning Tree

Does your child love music or enjoy trying new things? Our Flute Recorder Class is the perfect way to explore sound, rhythm, and creativity this spring! Designed just for kids ages 4–10, this fun, hands-on class teaches the basics of playing the recorder in a relaxed and joyful environment.

No experience needed—and instruments will be provided!

Kids will learn:
• How to hold and play the recorder
• Simple songs and musical games
• Rhythm, melody, and listening skills
• Confidence through creative expression

Class meets Thursday afternoons from May 15 to June 19, 2025.
Location: Unitarian Society of Germantown, 6511 Lincoln Drive

It’s been almost 8 months since opening our school and watching students develop has been the biggest joy of starting a school. The youth recorder class has been especially rewarding. There are still openings for Wednesday and Thursday afternoons for parents looking to enrich their young children with music. We teach Recorder technique, rhythm reading, and some basic music production.
