Today, we were joined by educators from around the region for our annual Celebration of Writing and Literacy, which was hosted by the Penn Museum in partnership with Teachers Institute of Philadelphia, Penn Graduate School of Education Literacy Studies, Mid-Career Doctoral Program in Ed Leadership, and School District of Philadelphia. "This article highlights NWP teacher-consultants who use blogs as a tool for inquiry and reflection and as a way to converse with a community of educators about their classrooms, their pedagogy, and educational reform. Teachers reading this piece can see the myriad purposes of creating a blog, and also receive tips on how to begin. This year’s theme is Poetry for the Planet which begins Oct 13, in preparation for Indigenous People’s Day, and runs through the National Day on Writing (Oct 20), ending on Oct 27.
