After a tough week of final exams, we have so many Every Champion Students of the Week to be proud of!
Congratulations to all for your hard work this week and throughout the school year.

A key piece of LSA's model is our Extended Day program. Three days a week students are in school until 5pm where they participate in Homework Club and other extracurricular activities. This school year, Sixth Grade learned all about nutritious foods and how to prep and cook some delicious meals through My Family Kitchen and Food Trust. These programs taught our students about proper kitchen safety, the benefits of nutritious foods, and provided them with recipes they can cook at home!
A special thank you to the instructors for the time they spent with Sixth Grade this year.

As part of a Civics project, the LSA 7th grade researched who their State Representatives are in the PA State House. This also helped LSA complete advocacy letters that thanked each State Rep for their EITC and OSTC support. This scholarship funding helps Catholic schools and independent schools offer a truly high-quality education.

LSA’s 7th Grade debated the Healthy Schools Lunch Reform Act of 2026! Students were assigned roles as Senators and Congresspeople and presented arguments supporting and opposing the legislation! The bill traveled a bumpy road including a dramatic tie and a veto by the President. The process finally ended with President, Isannia M. eventually signing the bill into law.

From concept to creation, the artistic talents of LSA's students were on full display during our 2026 Art Show 🎨 A Special Thank You to our Art Teacher, Mrs. Kitty Maley, for her creativity and guidance throughout the school year. Although projects are assigned with general guidelines, each piece of artwork takes a unique turn and shows the personality of our students. Thank you Mrs. Maley and LSA Students for such a colorful and fun Art Show!
