I picked up some handmade paper during Crane Arts third Thursday event last month. An artist from paperthinktank had an exhibit and was selling paper, small notebooks, and ink from onion skins. I’m really happy with how well this paper takes color 🧅

It’s nice to paint with no goal in mind. Giving myself time to breathe, and the grace to create whatever happens to come through. Watercolor can be a tough mistress to understand but I’m seeing a lot of growth since the last time I picked up a brush. I’m content with this one.
