THANK YOU for allowing me to support and share the stage with you this past NCECA. Adero’s work is full of color, depth, patience and pattern while being steeped in a personally familiar theme of brown skin finding a place in this world. Being their support during this extreme undertaking was a whirlwind of planning, organizing, anticipating and flat out ‘making it work’ for 3 straight days. thank you for your patience, positive spirit, and ongoing conversations on stage and off. Listening to the quotes you brought along with your demonstration and the way you speak about art and your place in the creative world right now- it’s inspiring and humbling. I’m leaving this year’s NCECA with feelings of clarity for my future work as well as a sense of calm after getting some much needed relax time among fellow artists and peers. Thanks again Adero and Del for making this time so unforgettable 🙏🏾

One last Glass Workshop left for this year! Join us this Sunday: we have a few spots left for our Moravian Star 3 dimensional stained glass workshop from 12-3:30pm. You too could have something just as special as these folks who came earlier in the month. Beginners Friendly, glass is pre cut so you can learn the basics without the struggle of cutting glass. ALSO the studio will be open Saturday and Sunday this weekend from 12-5pm. So stop by during the class if you’d like to get a sneak peek for how these workshops run, and pickup some handmade gifts while you’re here!
We had the amazing pleasure of hosting at The Craft Coven Convention today and got to hear all about and play with their handmade robotic toys.
