These programs are the foundation of what our organization stands for. Reaching at-risk youth in is our main focus so we can provide them with the tools to aspire to be successful in their future endeavors. Each of these programs is in the process of having a dedicated site. We welcome assistance from our community to help us reach this goal.

SAVE MUSIC EDUCATION

Friends of Youth Enrichment Programs' Jazz Brunch

I want to support the Jazz Brunch in its efforts to provide worthwhile educational activities for

young and school age youth in the field of music.

Our Fundraisers

YEP’s Jazz Brunch occurs annually, on the first Saturday in October from 11am-2pm at various elegant venues in Philadelphia and surrounding areas. This event provides an experience that is far from your imagination. The smooth sounds and spoken word artistry of young talent from the Philadelphia and surrounding areas, lends itself to an afternoon of enjoyment. The youth are passionate about their craft and outstanding entertainers. Studies have shown that music fosters creative, critical thinking skills and academic achievement.

Our Community Service

Community service is a commitment of YEP's founder, board of directors, staff and youth volunteers. Our board of directors, volunteer their time to help and educate youth. With the increasing economic needs and the communities that we serve, many of the children do not have resources to purchase back packs and school supplies. As a result, YEP has adopted a "Back To School" supplies program. In keeping with our philosophy, "Education in Every Experience", our board provides over 50 children with a backpack filled with school supplies and disburses information on the importance of parental involvement in school activities. This community service event provides low income, at risk children with the supplies they need to have a great start for the school year. We are passionate about making a difference in the lives of youth.
