Attention Pioneer Runners! The 1st annual Frankford 5K is coming up on October 22nd. Walkrun4Frankford is a fundraiser for the Frankford Business and Professional Association, and will begin and end at Frankford Stadium at 1074 Dyre Street.

At the family's request, here are the details of the visitation and interment of Mr. Charles Hackenyos. He will be missed by the Frankford community, and his impact will continue for years to come.

If you had Mr. Goldstein, you might know about linear perspective. If you stand close enough to FHS, you see so many vanishing points and random angles that it's pretty obvious that this beautiful building was designed by a madman.

"Twilight is falling..." Who can still hear the sounds of the pipe organ before the daily assembly programs? When Mr. H started up the pipes, those vibrations rumbled in the halls and rattled the windows before the music even started. An interesting anachronism unique to FHS. (And no, this isn't me at the console but if you're an alum from the 90s you might recognize the player.)

It just wouldn't feel like (Falcon) Turkey Day without saying it. Happy Thanksgiving to all!
Happy Veterans Day to all, with grateful appreciation to the men and women who have served (and continue to serve) in war, and in war time conditions... with thanks too for the sacrifice of their families.
