Nazareth Academy High School Embracing Faith, Family, and Education Nazareth Academy High School was founded in 1928 by Mother M.

Idalia of the Sisters of the Holy Family of Nazareth to further the intellectual and spiritual education of young Christian women. She sought to create an environment to foster "a living faith to teach the message of Christ, to build community and to serve humankind." The building was used in 1928 as a novitiate, provincial house and school. The facilities of the academy were expanded after the novitiate of the Sisters of the Holy Family of Nazareth was moved from the original Middleton house. A gymnasium/cafeteria was built in 1954, which was recently remodeled into a state-of-the-art Innovation Center, further enhancing our STREAM curriculum (Science, Technology, Religion, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics). Since our humble beginnings, Nazareth has sent more than 7,000 well prepared graduates through its doors and into the community with the support of an excellent education. Over the past 93 years, Nazareth has grown by evolving clubs, activities, curriculum and technology to serve the ever-changing needs of our students in the 21st-century global society. Today, Nazareth is a Catholic, private college preparatory school and is fully accredited by the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools and approved by the Department of Education.

October is domestic violence awareness month. Guided by the leadership team (Maureen Cronin, President; Thulani Chinyama, Junior Leader; and Penelope Theodorou and Rylan Kennedy, Sophomore Leaders), Morgan's Light at NAHS held their first general meeting.

Founded in remembrance of Morgan McCaffery '20, Morgan’s Light is "dedicated to shedding light on the hidden patterns of toxic teenage relationships and empowering youth to recognize, resist, and rise above them."

Please visit Morgan's Light to help the Nazareth community raise awareness, support survivors, and promote prevention efforts.
