As we welcome the newest cohort of our Advanced Management Program to campus this week, we’re excited to share some snapshots of one of the most powerful aspects of the AMP experience:
The opportunity to continue learning and growing, long after the classroom sessions conclude.
Earlier this month, eleven AMP and one GMP alumni embarked on a Leadership Trek in Chamonix, France, scaling mountains and hiking glaciers all while gaining new leadership insights and strengthening bonds with their peers.
Breathtaking views aside, experiences like these embody what makes AMP truly unique: a deep commitment to lifelong learning and a vibrant community that extends far beyond campus.
A heartfelt thank you to our incredible faculty, staff, and participants who make experiences like this possible - and we can’t wait to follow the journeys of our newest cohort in the weeks ahead!

Can a simple message help improve student outcomes in math?
In one of the largest studies of its kind, Spanning 140,000+ teachers and nearly 3 million students, new research from Penn’s Behavior Change for Good Initiative suggests that behaviorally informed emails delivered modest but measurable improvements compared to reminder-only controls.
While the effects were small, the findings open the door to deeper research on how behavioral science can support teachers and students alike - especially at a time when U.S. math scores continue to lag behind global peers: https://whr.tn/4l2vLoL

Why are so many workers feeling burned out and disillusioned - even in a strong labor market?
The answer might be hiding in plain sight.
In a recent national Gallup survey, 41% of workers reported having little to no control over how many hours they work, which days they work, or when they can take time off.
Wharton Prof. Guy David, whose own research focuses on workforce dynamics in the healthcare industry, has found a powerful connection between scheduling instability and employee turnover.
As organizations look to improve retention and engagement, rethinking scheduling practices may be one of the most impactful (and overlooked) places to start: https://whr.tn/3HyPsGN
