The goal is simple: To put books into the homes of all children!

Due to the ongoing impact of COVID-19, the 2020 Reading Olympics is cancelled. All team registrations will be transferred to next year’s event unless your school decides to opt out. Please email [email protected] if you wish to cancel your registration. The current book lists will be used for the 2021 Reading Olympics. Coaches, we cannot thank you enough for your continued and unwavering support of Reading Olympics. We could not run this program without you, and we respect and appreciate your dedication to your teams. We look forward to working with you next school year and to seeing you in person at Reading Olympics 2021.

03/26/2020

Because of the impact of the COVID-19 virus, we are cancelling the in-person Reading Olympics 2020 competition. Many of our partner organizations are cancelling in-person events, and we agree that it is the most responsible thing to do right now.

We are exploring alternative options to the in-person competition. Look for updates.

In the meantime, we send our regrets to our teams. We hope that you are enjoying the books. And many thanks to our coaches for all you’ve done to facilitate your team’s preparation. We appreciate you so much.

We are missing spending time with educators at our Book Bank, but are excited about the improvements we are already in the process of planning for next year! We are also loving all calls and emails about book donations. We need to get those shelves full for the beginning of the 2019-2020 school year!
