Big Changes Coming This Summer: The Campus Quad Thanks to the remarkable generosity of donors who supported the Parents Association's Down & Derby fundraiser, which raised more than $850,000, The Campus Quad is becoming a reality.

Lower School student Ira has been busy this spring selling lemonade and pizzelles to raise money for St. Vincent's Food Pantry. Thanks to the generosity of the SCH community, Ira has raised over $500! We are ! 👏

In a joint effort to support academic innovation, the Drexel University Department of Physics (College of Arts and Sciences) and the College of Engineering have partnered with Springside Chestnut Hill Academy students on a NASA-supported high-altitude balloon research project. Fresh eggs, friendly farm animals, and hands-on discovery made for a memorable day at Erdenheim Farm 🐓Our Pre-K girls learned all there is to know about chickens while gathering 🥚 eggs, explored farm equipment 🚜, and met plenty of new furry friends — including cows, baby goats, and 🐑 Judy the sheep! For SCH seniors Chloe Hanson and Adina Jeremiah, the arts have been a powerful launchpad for self-discovery. By seeking out unique creative experiences on campus, from the ceramics studio to diversity leadership, both students have paved the way for their bright futures.

Two SCH Seniors Turn Artistic Passion into Purpose For SCH seniors Chloe Hanson and Adina Jeremiah, the arts have been a powerful launchpad for self-discovery.

The SCH chess team, led by coach Ross Colby, delivered an extraordinary performance at the National Middle School Chess Championship in Austin, Texas, earlier this month.

Competing in the K8 Under 1100 section against 34 teams nationwide, SCH held a top-six spot throughout the tournament. The team ultimately secured 4th place with 18.5 points—just 1.5 points shy of the national title. Tap the link below to read more and view the individual highlights! ⬇️♟️

Our 3rd grade boys visited Marsh Creek State Park earlier this month to enjoy a day of kayaking. 🚣‍♂️ They paddled the lake looking for turtles, otters, osprey, kingfishers, and bald eagles as they learned the basics of flat water paddling. 🐢🦦🦅
