Even though it's summer break, staff and administration are still here to support you. Beginning May 28th, we will hold in-person hours at the Philadelphia Center, Monday-Thursday from 9:00AM-5:00PM and will be available to support students virtually on Fridays from 9:00AM-5:00PM. The Office of Sustainability is hiring two Graduate Assistants for the 2024-2025 academic year! We are looking for a GA for Social Media & Student Outreach, who will implement a communication and engagement strategy promoting opportunities to create, learn and share knowledge about sustainability at WCU, and a GA for Data Monitoring and Analysis, who will work with other members of the Office of Sustainability to implement a data collection, analysis, and monitoring strategy.

If you are enrolled in a graduate program and one or both of these positions interest you, head to Handshake to learn more and apply before May 6th at 11:59pm!

Congratulations to our very own Keeya Faison for winning the Woman of Color Empowerment Award through the Woman’s Commission at West Chester University. Keeya is the Center Operations Manager for the Philadelphia Center and goes above and beyond to ensure that everyone’s needs are met. Thank you for all you do Keeya!

Thank you to Madame Speaker Joanna McClinton for visiting the Philadelphia Center to engage in a discussion on policy and advocacy. The students and faculty enjoyed engaging in this important dialogue! Congratulations to Philadelphia students, Tria, Shawntae, and Lakeya, who were inducted tonight into The Tri-Alpha Honors Society. Tri-Alpha recognizes and celebrates first-generation students at West Chester University who have earned a 3.2 cumulative grade point average or higher. Thank you also to Matt Jackson (President) and Amah Dunor (Vice President) who are also students at WCU in Philadelphia for serving on the Tri-Alpha board and congratulations on your upcoming graduation 🎉🐏
