Hey Drexel HSA!
I would like to invite all of you and all Greek and Phil-Hellene friends to a special discussion this Sunday, April 28th starting at 2:00pm with a professor from the Democritus University of Thrace in Greece, George Pavlos! The location will be on Drexel's campus at MacAlister Hall, Room 2019/2020 (33rd and Chestnut).
In short, George Pavlos is visiting the U.S. to share his vision in helping support Greece. He specifically expressed his interest in meeting Greek students and others who love Greece within the community of Philadelphia in order to get us involved with reviving the Hellenic culture through education and language. Come hear his business plan and be a part of this strategic planning discussion to help make it a reality!!
Please, see the attached invitation for more details. Also, feel free to share this with anyone you like. For those who can not attend, but wish to find out more, please let me know.

Dear Students,
Are you interested in a summer internship?? If so, please read the message below sent by Leon Stavrou, Executive Director of The Next Generation Initiative.
Carla Brillembourg-Clark, a friend of the Next Generation Initiative has contacted us regarding summer internship opportunities with The Libra Group. If you are interested in applying, please read the information below - and let them know the Next Generation Initiative has brought this opportunity to your attention.
------------------------------------------
As most of you know, I have been involved with the Libra Internship Program for the past few years. It has been a pleasure to be a part of this program which has had such a positive impact on previous interns and their communities. Please pass this email on to students who you think would be interested in applying for an internship this summer. Application packages are due by January 30th, 2013.
The Libra Internship Program offers university-level internships for up to twenty rising juniors and seniors, and graduating seniors in the summer of 2013, in conjunction with the Greek America Foundation. Upon qualification and successful selection for the program, Libra Interns will be assigned an internship in one of Libra’s businesses which span shipping, aviation, hotel ownership and management, real estate or renewable energy at one of the Libra Group’s 23 key international locations, which include New York, Miami, London, Los Angeles, Athens, Beijing and Buenos Aires.
Students will be selected for the program based on academic achievement, demonstrated personal motivation and a keen interest in Libra and an international internship experience. Libra Group will provide interns with a bursary towards their travel and living expenses. In addition, a discretionary bonus may be awarded upon successful completion of the internship for outstanding performance.
Applications to this program are being handled exclusively by the Greek America Foundation. All enquiries related to the internship program should also be directed to Jenny Kellogg at the Greek America Foundation at [email protected].
