Mario overcame difficulties in his personal life while pursuing education after his military service, ultimately completing his bachelor's degree through Goodwin's Interdisciplinary Professional Studies program while working full-time.

Next Tuesday, join the Goodwin College community for the final Goodwin Great Talks session of fall quarter. Giuseppe Salomone, PhD, Assistant Vice President and University Registrar at Drexel, will lead a discussion of discussing gender, s*x and understanding gender awareness.

Gender and s*x exist in a continuum and are ever-changing, and gender awareness can be seen as a process because of our ways of thinking about ourselves, others and the world as gendered. Topics of discussion will include gender, s*x, gender identity, gender expression, s*xual orientation, personal pronouns and chosen names.
