Former CCA athletic director Larry DeMarco was recently diagnosed with colon cancer.

It appears that he will soon go home to Jesus (days to weeks).

Please pray for Larry and his family. By all means, pray for a miracle. But also pray for peace with God's will.

NBC10 Philadelphia’s Weather Education Day was awesome! Over 10,000 students came to Citizens Bank Park to learn about weather and how it can affect baseball. The entire weather team was there to deliver fun experiments!

One of the highlights of today was seeing my former high school physics teacher, Mr. Bofinger. Great seeing you today, Mr. Bo!

It was a real pleasure to have alumna Julianne Heilman man share, on 2 occasions, with the Jr an Sr High students about her work with Asifiwe.

Congrats to CCA alumna Maggie Smith!

At Penn Medicine Doylestown Hospital, Maggie Smith RN, is known for care that goes beyond the clinical checklist and into the moments that matter most.

When one patient was struggling with their mental health, Maggie didn’t rush past the moment, she paused, listened, and helped ease their fears with calm reassurance and steady presence. That same attentiveness shows up in everything she does: taking time to listen, stepping in for colleagues, and making sure no patient feels overlooked.

Her blend of clinical expertise and genuine compassion leaves a lasting impact on every patient and every family she cares for. That’s why Maggie was selected to receive a Penn Medicine Advocacy Award. This well-deserved honor recognizes her unwavering commitment to doing what’s right for individuals, teams, and the entire organization.

Longtime CCA teacher Marsha Bristow will be retiring at the end of the school year. We want to bless her with a memory book for her many years of blessing both the CCA students & staff.

Today was the high school career fair, and we were happy to welcome CCA alumna Karina Lemos (now Farr) as a presenter.

Calvary Christian Academy (Phila) vs Calvary Christian School (NJ) at Messiah University coached by alumni Ryan Feeley 02 (CCA) and David Hernandez 00 (CCS)

CCA won a hard fought game vs CCS

Both teams were hosted by Messiah University for a tour, admissions discussion, and dinner followed by the basketball invitational the next morning and then the opportunity to stay and watch both the women and men's Messiah teams play.
