CCA Alumni - Philadelphia This page is designed to reconnect with Calvary Christian Academy Alumni and announce upcoming events In 2015, CCA celebrated 20 years of serving Christ's kids.

Calvary Christian Academy was founded in September of 1995 as the educational ministry of Calvary Chapel Philadelphia. The primary goal was to work with Christian families to educate and disciple Godly young men and women. The school initially began as a PK through 8th grade school and soon after added 9th through 12th grades in 1997. In 1998, CCA graduated its first class and since that time has seen students enroll in over 100 different colleges and universities including: University of Pennsylvania, Penn State University, Calvary Chapel Bible College, Liberty University, West Point Military Academy, John Hopkins University, Cedarville University, Temple University, University of Pittsburgh, and Grove City College. CCA received full accreditation from the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools and the Association of Christian Teachers and Schools in 2012. Our academic programs are designed to meet the learning needs of the honors student, college prep student, and the student working at a more basic level. Special education services are provided in accordance to our special education program and handbook. School electives and after school programs provide opportunities for CCA's students to hone the gifts the Lord has given them in areas of the fine arts, foreign languages, athletics, computer science, and the culinary arts.

It's Spirit Week at CCA and the faculty and staff are joining the fun! Yesterday was Movie Monday and we had some Star Wars and Men in Black represented. Do you recognize a CCA alumna in the Star Wars gang? Ruthee Reeves is student teaching this fall!
Today the office staff got into Spice Girl spirit (it was Twin/Triplet/Team Tuesday). There are 2 alumnae in that gang.

Come on out for Fall Sports Day on Saturday! We love to see our alumni there!

CCA teachers and staff reported for Inservice last week. On the first day they were encouraged by CCA alumnus Dan Roadarmel, who especially recalled the impact Mr Charles Sheppard had on him.

Dan's wife, fellow alum Karey (Stauffer) Roadarmel, currently teaches in the elementary school at CCA. Dan noted how watching her has given him a whole new view of what CCA teachers do.
