There is a campaign to completely undermine public schools in PA. It is sponsored by Commonwealth Action. The campaign is targeting our Democratic leadership.
Initially, I thought $10,000 scholarships to kids in bad schools. That, sounds like a good idea. But then I thought about the kids in the future. Who were still stuck in the places where those failing schools have not been fixed. It occurred to me that this is part of a campaign to get rid of public schools. I cannot support it.
