Liguori Academy Liguori Academy is a non-profit, private high school located in the Kensington neighborhood of Philadelphia.

Inspired by the teachings of Alphonsus Liguori, our school was founded on the motto of Boundless Love. Liguori Academy High School was established in 2016 with the purpose of providing a high-quality education alongside unique experiential opportunities geared toward preparing students for the future. At Liguori, students benefit from an education program that is personalized, flexible, and techno

logy driven. In addition to the core curriculum, we offer a career readiness program that teaches life skills and career preparedness. Opportunities such as paid work experiences, virtual internships, pre-apprenticeships, and job shadowing will be offered to participating students. Life skills such as financial literacy and how to handle life’s challenges are other skills students will develop.

Last Saturday, Liguori Academy was proud to partner with NEST - Integrated Facilities Management to kick off MLB All-Star Week with a day of service at the Shane Victorino Nicetown Boys & Girls Club!

Our students and faculty rolled up their sleeves to help paint the building, refresh the landscaping alongside the PHS Pennsylvania Horticultural Society, rake the softball field, pack backpacks and hygiene kits, and write encouraging notes for students.

Opportunities like this allow our students to engage in the community in new ways and feel proud to be part of something bigger than themselves. Thank you NEST for inviting our students to be part of this special day!

Through the From Kensington to the Caribbean Sailing Expedition with SailFuture, a group of Liguori Academy students spent eight unforgettable days exploring the Caribbean aboard the S/Y Whatever It Takes, building leadership, resilience, teamwork, and confidence along the way. What they discovered wasn't just how to sail, it was what they're capable of.
