In Ghana, TUSP student Gabrielle Stuat worked with colleagues from Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University and University for Development Studies in Tamale to build pharmacy training programs that actually reflect local realities, not just textbook ideals.
"I'm going to be a better pharmacist because of this program," said Gabi. "I'll be able to support my patients in a better way."

Last week we celebrated the conclusion of the Immigrant Health Education Training Series at our Honoring Partnerships in Immigrant Health reception.
The initiative, which kicked off in 2023, started with 14 community conversations and a landscape assessment of 50+ organizations serving immigrant populations in Philadelphia and grew into something remarkable: a Community Advisory Board of immigrant health community leaders, four education webinars co-designed with community voices, and 260+ healthcare providers, faculty, students, and staff trained on culturally responsive immigrant health care.
To every partner, advisor, and community leader who participated: thank you. Together we are building stronger, healthier, more inclusive communities for everyone in Philadelphia.
