Tacony Academy Charter School We are hopeful that, as the school grows and realizes success, that our positive energy will effectively spread out into the Tacony neighborhood and beyond.

Tacony Academy Charter School is currently a Kindergarten through Twelfth Grade school serving a diverse student body comprised of children from all over the city of Philadelphia, from all ethnic, religious and cultural backgrounds. Tacony Academy Charter School is designed to attract students whose families desire a heightened attention to smaller class sizes, and a non-traditional calendar that builds in significant opportunities for early identification of at risk students, remediation, and enrichment. Our parents had the chance to meet their teachers, reconnect with friends, explore classrooms, and learn more about the clubs and activities waiting for them this year.
