Please take a moment to congratulate Zaid Alsubaiei ‘27, our March Peer Educator of the Month!!
Zaid has been a math tutor for Weingarten for the last year and half. This past fall, he was promoted to the position of lead math tutor. In this role, he has shown creativity, dedication, and a strong understanding of what makes calculus hard. Zaid’s thoughtful approach to helping improve the calculus start-up program will benefit future students and tutors alike.

Interested in speaking to a disability services staff member? We offer disability services drop in hours in the LGBT Center every Thursday from 1-4pm. Our staff can help you with your accommodations, scheduling appointments, and navigating other Weingarten services.
Find us in the Gordon-Buono Student Lounge, accessible on the right side of the first floor of the building! There is an accessible entrance, elevator, and single user restrooms available.

It may be almost April but we’re still thinking about our February Peer Educator of the Month, Rohan Kurup ‘26! Rohan stands out as an empathetic, passionate, and skilled tutor in our direct schedule tutoring program. He has tutored General Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, and Abnormal Psychology since joining our team in Fall 2024. We’re so grateful to have him on our team! Thank you for all of your hard work, Rohan!

Happy finals week! We’re wrapping up this semester with our November peer educator of the month, David Kerendian ‘27! David is a direct schedule tutor for finance.
David joined our team this fall. Since his new tutor training, he has stood out as an enthusiastic and thoughtful tutor. David connects with students, engages with the tutoring staff, and also assisted with a professional development workshop on AI this term. We are so happy to have David on our team. Thank you for all that you do!

Congratulations to Hannah Gong, our Peer Educator of the Month for October 2025! Hannah joined our team in Spring 2025 as an Organic Chemistry Workshop Leader. Since, she has made her mark as a thoughtful and responsive peer educator who is dedicated to her group of students. Hannah has also contributed greatly to the development of the Workshops program, providing insightful feedback on many of its aspects.
We are so happy to have Hannah as a member of our team, and her students are very lucky to have her as a Workshop Leader. Thank you for all that you do, Hannah! ✨
