Amid a surge in cases of the COVID-19 omicron variant, Temple University will move to online learning for the first three weeks of the spring 2022 semester, the school announced.

Philly students can now identify as nonbinary in the school district system
Superintendent Hite said the change was a step towards becoming more “equitable and inclusive.”

Next Saturday, November 20th, at 6 pm, a Trans Day of Remembrance vigil will be held at the Belltower to honor the members of our transgender community whose lives have been stolen from us by violence over the last year. There will be a certain amount of TDOR tshirts/sweatshirts distributed on a first come first serve basis. Please come to pay your respects and seek solace in each other.

For any of us associated with Temple University, this is a petition to demand safety protocol be put in place to help protect students and faculty from covid-19. We cannot afford to operate as if things are back to normal and not have this result in a public health disaster. There is a special alumnus option to select on said petition.
