Penn International Relations Conference (PIRC)
PIRC is a symposium that brings together high school students from the Greater Philadelphia area and fosters their interest International Relations.
The eighth session of the Penn International Relations Conference will be held on February 24, 2016 on Penn's Campus. PIRC's focus will be centered on Southeast Asia and the issues that pertain to that region. The conference engages students with case studies and features university speakers.

Nigeria's recent economic success has led them to close their borders, which may have significant impacts on ECOWAS and the rest of the West African states. Read about it here!:
The Economic Community of West African countries declines Nigerian goods The move is thought to be in retaliation for Nigeria shutting its borders. The country made the protectionist move to stop cheap imports damaging local markets.
