Sustainability leaders from six universities across the U.S., Turkey, Pakistan, and the U.K. came together to explore what’s possible at the intersection of renewable energy + sustainability, right in one of the greenest countries on Earth.

They stepped outside their comfort zones, designed real-world solutions, and reconnected with the planet (and each other).

That’s the verdict from Washington State University senior Elizabeth Scout Abbott after spending 10 days in the Peruvian highlands with TGP.

Scout, alongside classmates Katherine Tate and Annie Kintner, traded their traditional textbooks for a living laboratory to study water resource management and Indigenous sustainability practices firsthand.
