Please keep sharing Sebastian. 🙏💔

Sebastian Wayne Drake Rogers was 15 when he vanished from his home in Hendersonville, Tennessee, overnight on 25 - 26 Feb 2024. His mother went to wake him for school. His room was empty.

He did not take his phone, his shoes, extra clothes, money or food. A small yellow flashlight may have been the only thing gone.

Sebastian is autistic. He also has severe ADHD & a rare genetic condition. He needs his medication & support. He cannot be expected to find his way home alone.

He was last described as about 5’5”, 110 - 120 lbs, brown or dirty-blond hair, hazel/brown eyes, freckles on his neck. He may now be 17. He was last seen in a black sweatshirt, black sweatpants & black square-framed glasses.

Thousands searched. Drones, dogs, water, every house in the neighbourhood. Two years later there is still no confirmed sighting.

The FBI is offering up to $50,000 for information that leads to him.

Gus Lamont, 4 — Oak Park Station, near Yunta, South Australia, 27 Sep 2025. Playing outside while his grandmother was inside with his baby brother. When she checked, he was gone. One possible boot print was looked at. Later searches - including draining a dam - found nothing confirmed as his.

Jared Negrete, 12 — San Gorgonio Mountain, California, 19 Jul 1991. On a Boy Scout hike. He fell behind the group. His backpack & camera were found. The last photo on the roll is of part of his own face. He has never been found.

Lilly Sullivan, 6, & Jack Sullivan, 4 — Lansdowne Station, Pictou County, Nova Scotia, 2 May 2025. Lived with their mother, stepfather & baby sister. Reported missing from the property that morning. Police have said they have no proof the children were taken, but have not ruled it out. Searches of the woods around the home found nothing. Nova Scotia is still offering a large reward.

Jaidyn Baker-Dizon, 5 when last seen — Tacoma, Washington, 2013. Picked up from daycare by her mother, who was not her main carer. Relatives later realised she was not with the family. She would be 17 now.

Noah McIntosh, 8 — Corona, California, Mar 2019. His mother asked for a welfare check after she had not seen him. His ‘father’ was later charged with first-degree m*rder. Noah has never been found. There had been repeated reports to child services before he vanished.

Gabriel Johnson, 8 months — last seen San Antonio, Texas, Dec 2009. His ‘mother’ took him from Arizona against a court order. She told his father he would never see him again, then gave different stories - that she had harmed him, then that she had given him to a couple in a park. She was convicted of custodial interference. Gabriel has never been found.

Summer Wells, 5 — Rogersville, Tennessee, 15 Jun 2021. Last seen at home going toward the basement. Family say she would not have wandered off. TBI have said they have no evidence she was taken. She has never been found.

Little Noah Woods was only 3 years old. 🤍

On Tuesday afternoon he was at a playground in Brantham, Suffolk, when he became separated from a relative.

More than 1,300 people from the village & far beyond joined the search for the little boy who was non-verbal & partially deaf.

The next day the heartbreaking news came that Noah had been found.

His daddy Rhys wrote:
“Noah was the sweetest & most innocent little boy, with nothing but love to give, & we are going to miss him so very much.
It has been a privilege to be your parents & be able to have packed so much love in the short three years you were with us.
Noah, you will be loved forever. You will never be forgotten.”

Little Aarone Thompson 💔

Born 30 Nov 1998. There are almost no photographs of this little girl. One from when she was younger. One that is badly pixelated. One age-progressed image made years later so the public would still know her face.

On 14 Nov 2005, six year old Aarone was reported missing from Aurora, Colorado. She had already been gone more than a year before anyone reported her. Her ‘father’ told police she had run away after an argument over a cookie. That was the story he gave.

The court later heard that she had already d!ed, & that she had been badly hurt. Her body has never been recovered. Her ‘father’ was convicted of causing her d€ath & sentenced to 114 years in prison.

I’ve tried to restore the only later photo we have - not to rewrite her story, but so she can be seen. So she is not only a case number.

Aarone deserved a childhood full of pictures. She deserved to grow up. She deserved to be brought home.

Nia Glassie, 3 — Rotorua, New Zealand, 2007. Tortur€d for months in the home where she was meant to be safe. Left for more than a day before she was taken to hospital. She d!ed of her injuries. Two men were convicted of m*rder. Her ‘mother’ was convicted of manslaughter.

Thomas Valva, 8 — Center Moriches, New York, 2020. A little boy with autism. Forced to sleep in a freezing garage with his older brother. He d!ed of hypothermia. His ‘father’, a police officer, & the ‘father’s’ fiancée were both convicted of m*rder.

Hazel Homan, 3 — Bellingham, Washington, 2019. D!ed of a head injury after months of harm. Her father’s girlfriend was convicted of homicide by aßuse & sentenced to 34 years.

Colton Turner Pelfrey, 2 — Austin, Texas, 2014. His ‘mother’ & her boyfriend did not take him to hospital after he was badly hurt. He d!ed. They buried him. Both were convicted. His father is Brandon Pelfrey.

Emily Pike, 14 — Arizona, 2025. San Carlos Apache. She left a Mesa group home. Weeks later her remains were found by a highway. Her d€ath was ruled a homicide. No one has been charged.

Alivia Hobbs-Jordan, 7 — DeKalb County, Georgia, 2023. Her ‘mother’ left her in a closet & did not come back. She was found months later. Her ‘mother’ pleaded guilty.

Kobi Shepherdson, 9 months — South Australia, 2021. Hours after a court let her ‘father’ have contact, he took her to Whispering Wall. He k!lled her & himself. A coroner later said her d€ath was preventable.

Zemar King, 9 — Detroit, 2024. He told CPS his ‘mother’ hurt him & wanted to k!ll him. Months later he was found buried. His ‘mother’ has been charged. CPS had closed the file.

Some have waited so long for justice.
Some are still waiting.
Some got a conviction - & it still doesn’t feel like enough.
They should have grown up.

Justice for Nubia Docter Barahona🪽

Nubia was only 10. She & her twin brother Victor were taken into care as babies. In 2009 they were adopted by Jorge & Carmen Barahona in Miami.

Teachers & others had already raised concerns for years - bruises, constant hunger, fear of going home. Calls were made. The adoption still went through.

On 10 Feb 2011 another call was made to child services. A worker came to the house the next day & left without seeing Nubia. The file was marked safe.

Nubia died that same day. The court later heard she had been fatally attacked. Victor survived. Carmen later accepted a life sentence. Jorge remains in custody awaiting trial. (Sensitive case information in the pinned comment).

This little girl in the pink princess dress was failed by the people meant to protect her.

Rest in peace Nubia, you’re never forgotten.

Remembering Vivian Mae Mariscal 🤍

Sept 14 marks a year since she died at 8 months old in a licensed Tucson foster home. The medical examiner ruled it an accident. The foster provider was not charged or arrested.

This is what was reported that day. The provider said she needed to use the bathroom & left Vivian with a 2 year old. She said she was only gone a few minutes. According to her, the 2 year old took Vivian into the bathroom, put her in the bathtub & turned on the water. She then pulled Vivian out & started CPR. She told police the baby’s body had already turned purple.

Her 17 year old son told a different story. He said his mother told him to put both children in the bathtub while she used the bathroom.
When officers asked how the babies ended up in the tub, the provider described the exact order: the 2 year old got in first, then put Vivian in. If she was not in the room, how did she know that?

She later said there was nothing she could have done differently because she had to go to the bathroom, & that she had other children in her care. A licensed caregiver decided leaving two little ones unsupervised was her only choice

The state paid & licensed this woman to keep Vivian safe. She did not. Vivian never made it to her first birthday. Her parents have filed a notice of claim against the State of Arizona & the foster provider for wrongful death.

A state placement does not automatically mean a child is safe. Months after Vivian died, Arizona was still recruiting more foster providers with higher pay.

Vivian deserved better than that. Rest in peace, sweet girl. You were loved. You are remembered. 🕊️

Octavia was only 10. 🤍

A Grade 4 girl from Joostenberg Primary. She wanted to be a teacher.

On Sunday afternoon, Octavia went missing from the Joostenbergvlakte area near Kraaifontein. By Monday morning, her body had been found in a farm dam.

Her 14 year old cousin was arrested in connection with her death, but was later released while the docket was returned for further investigation. Reports say the investigation remains ongoing.

Her family & neighbours have also raised concerns that they called for help more than once the day before Octavia was found.

Those concerns deserve to be heard.

A little girl was missing. People were asking for help. Octavia should have been found safe.

We do not look away. Say her name. Remember Octavia. Hold her family close in your thoughts. & demand that her d€ath is properly investigated.

Rest gently, little one.
You deserved a full life. 🕊️

Melodee Buzzard, 9 — California, 2025. Taken on a road trip by her ‘mother’. Last seen alive near the Colorado–Utah border. Her body was later found in rural Utah. Her ‘mother’ has been charged with first-degree m*rder.

Renesmay Eutsey, 9 — Fayette County, Pennsylvania, 2025. Reported missing by the people caring for her. Her body was found in a river hours later. One of her carers has been charged with homicide. Other children in the home described aßuse.

Dawson Zamora, 3 — Texas, 2025. Brought to hospital unresponsive with terrible injuries. He spent weeks on life support before he d!ed. His ‘mother’ & her boyfriend have been charged with capital m*rder.

Benjamin “Benji” Cervera, 4 — San Antonio, 2021. Starv€d in his own home. He weighed 28 pounds when he d!ed. Videos show him begging for food. His step’mother’ was convicted. His ‘father’ was found not guilty.

Rebekah Baptiste, 10 — Arizona, 2025. Found unresponsive by a roadside after being taken camping. She d!ed in hospital three days later. Her ‘father’ & his fiancée have been charged with first-degree m*rder.

JonBenét Ramsey, 6 — Boulder, Colorado, 1996. Found in the basement of her family home on Boxing Day. A long ransom note was left in the house. Many believe it was staged, & that whoever wrote it knew the family. No one has ever been convicted.

Rachel Barber, 15 — Melbourne, Australia, 1999. A talented dancer. Lured to a flat by her family’s former babysitter. That woman was convicted of her m*rder & sentenced to 20 years. She was released on parole after about 15 years. She is free.

Arthur Labinjo-Hughes, 6 — Solihull, England, 2020. Poisoned with salt, starved & beat€n in lockdown. He d!ed of a head injury. His step’mother’ was convicted of m*rder. His ‘father’ was convicted of manslaughter. Agencies had been warned.

Some families have waited months, years.
Even if “justice was served,” it still doesn’t feel like enough for what these angels endured - for all that was stolen.
They should have grown up.

Little Christopher Churchill 🕊️

Only 15 months old. Christopher was born on 7 Aug 1995. He should have been safe with the people who were meant to protect him. In the weeks before he d!ed, there were already signs that something was terribly wrong.

In Nov 1996 he was taken to hospital with a severe infection around his mouth. Doctors also found bruising & lesions. The court later heard he had lost a tooth in the days before that.

Then came Thanksgiving Day, 28 Nov 1996. That morning Christopher was left alone with Harold Jay Trotter, his mother’s boyfriend. When his mother came back, Trotter said the baby had accidentally fallen against a wall heater & burned his face.

The court heard a different account. A medical expert testified the burns to Christopher’s face & forearms were too severe to have been an accident, & that the injuries on his arms showed he had tried to push himself away.

Later that morning he was taken to his grandparents’ for Thanksgiving dinner. That should have been a day of family. Instead it was his last full day.

On 29 Nov Christopher was found not breathing. He could not be saved.

Trotter was convicted in 1997 of child aßuse resulting in d€ath, manslaughter, & child aßuse resulting in serious bodily injury. In 2001 the Nebraska Supreme Court overturned the manslaughter & death-related counts & ordered a new trial. The serious bodily injury conviction stood.

Christopher’s mother was also convicted for failing to get him help.

Behind all of that was a baby who never got to speak for himself. He never got to grow up. Never got another Christmas. Never got another birthday.

We remember him. We say his name. Because Christopher mattered. Rest gently, baby Christopher. You deserved protection. You deserved safety. You deserved a life.
