Willow Tree Early Child Care

Willow Tree Early Child Care Willow Tree Early Child Care is a small, in-home child care program for children ages 2-4. M-TH, 9-1.

Willow Tree Early Child Care is an in-home, half-day childcare program, for children ages 2-4 with no more than 8 children daily. Childcare takes place in my home, and in our wonderful backyard, and involves a relaxed daily rhythm inspired by the beauty of Waldorf practices: open-play with natural toys, art, a reverence for nature, and a rhythm to our day and week. Our home is located in East Mt Airy, in a grand victorian house, with a large yard (.68 acre) including a frog and fish pond, chickens and other animals, and a variety of outdoor play equipment. We also have lovely indoor pets, that are very child friendly. My home is directly across from Mt Airy Playground and is two doors from Lovett Library, with convenient access to bus and train lines. Our day includes an organic snack, and runs from 9:00-1:00, Monday-Wednesday. If you are looking for a gentle entry into childcare, in a small and warm setting, this just might be the place for you! Please contact Jen for more information, or to schedule a visit.
