Kathy Schneider, MS, CGC has joined Jill Stopfer, MS, CGC, in our updated Cancer sections, adding her expertise in Tumor Predisposition and Pediatric Genetic Oncology. Both Schneider and Stopfer are at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute in Boston.
Newly Updated: Biochemical and Mitochondrial Genetics Lectures
Lewis J. Waber, MD, PhD, who spent the majority of his career at UT Southwestern in Dallas, has recorded 15 mini-sections on biochemical genetics. Colleen Clarke Muraresku, MS, LCGC, senior genetic counselor at Children’s Hospital in Philadelphia, has updated the mitochondrial section. These lectures and materials are live and available to our registrants now.

More Updates to Enhance the Experience of our Registrants: The Pre- and Post-test questions have been updated. This will not affect recently-submitted post-tests for our registrants applying for CEUs.

The updated and reorganized Course has passed the NSGC Continuing Education Review Team process and has been approved for up to 7.502 Category 1 CEUs for first time applicants and 4.288 Category 1 CEUs for registrants who received CEUs prior to November 2014. As always, we will be happy to assist our registrants to determine credit eligibility.
