A sad loss for The Ohio State University College of Engineering but tremendous gain for Spelman College! Under Dean Howard’s leadership, Ohio State’s College of Engineering saw unprecedented enrollment growth, record-breaking external research funding, and all-time highs in first-year retention rates. Dean Howard also championed pathways to broaden the participation of women, minorities and individuals with disabilities in STEM.
