🫡 Shout out to former Choate assistant Joe Zeglinski on the program he’s built at Archbishop Ryan of the Philly Catholic League, bar none one of the best high school basketball leagues in the nation.

Following a great college career (2nd all-time in scoring behind NBA legend, Vin Baker, at The University of Hartford, Joe broke into coaching at Choate and hasn’t looked back since📈. Coach Zeglinski has seen numerous kids go on to play at every level in college, is consistently ranked as one of the top programs in Pennsylvania and will face Neuman Goretti this evening at a sold out Palestra for a chance to see his Team advance to the Philadelphia Catholic league championship. Joe also serves as AD.

🚨ICYMI: Congrats to your 2023-2024 Founders League Champion🏆 On Saturday, Choate hoops beat Hotchkiss 76-58 to claim New England’s moat competitive Class A League. Saturday marked Choate’s fourth run at a Founders League championship in eight years, their third title over that span, and a second straight season finishing a top the league (14-2 combined in 2 yrs), 🤝

With the boys winning their senior night matchup on Saturday vs Thayer Academy, we like to honor and recognize the six seniors and postgraduates who have made this season the success that it is, and will continue to lead us into the end of the regular season and playoffs.

PG #4 captain, Christian Mclease with his leadership abilities on and off the court. PG #2, Jermai Stewart-Herring with his fiery passion for the game and the process. PG #23 Adelphe Hermann Cisse with his defensive anchoring and positive attitude. PG #3 Ryan Mackinnon for his 3 level bag and IQ. Senior #11 Kevin Yi with his guidance as our only returning senior.
