Started with a $2,500 seed investment at Wharton’s Venture Initiation Program (VIP) and Venture Lab’s $10,000 Summer Venture Award, Warby Parker has since distributed >8 million pairs of glasses under their “Buy a Pair, Give a Pair'' program. Through this program, the glasses distributed thus far will unlock more than $1 billion in earning potential for low-income households.
Before launching Warby Parker, Neil also served as director of the nonprofit social enterprise VisionSpring. Neil currently serves on the board of RxArt and on the United Nations Foundation Global Entrepreneurs Council. He was recognized as a “Young Global Leader” by the World Economic Forum and “Entrepreneur of the Year” by Ernst & Young.

Throwback Thursday!!! Take a look at Wharton from 33 years ago this week. Course match was conducted in person in a tent, the rugby team vowed to out drink its opposition (not much has changed), and grade non-disclosure was apparently not a thing since a B in CorpFin apparently wouldn't get you a BCG interview
