REMINDER: ✏️📓Need School Supplies? We've Got This!🖍️✂️

As "Back to School" time approaches, the Indian River Central School District is once again pleased to be able to provide each of our students with every academic classroom/school supply necessary for the 2026-27 school year. Students will still need a backpack large enough to carry any personal items and a lunch box if bringing meals from home. Parents and guardians may still wish to purchase personalized or extra school supplies, but the District will have academic supplies ready for every student, no lists required.

We know that in times of economic uncertainty, every little bit helps. We hope you are having an enjoyable, safe, and relaxing summer, and we look forward to seeing all of our students in September. And don't worry about buying school supplies—we've got this!

It’s almost back-to-school time for Indian River Central School District! 🎒📚🍁 To prepare for the upcoming school year, our School Resource Officers attend annual State of New York Police Juvenile Officers Association training in Penn Yan. We'd like to give a big shoutout to Deputy Matt Young, who was invited to serve as an instructor for this year's conference! 👏

Both Deputy Young and Deputy Jay Morrow are ready for another great year and look forward to seeing students and staff back in the halls very soon! 🚔🏫

The Indian River Central School District Board of Education will meet on Thursday, August 20, 2026 in the Board of Education room in the Indian River Central School District Office Complex (32735B County Route 29, Philadelphia, NY 13673) beginning at 6:30PM.

Indian River Central School District Board of Education Meetings are public meetings where in-person attendance is welcome. This meeting will also be streamed live for virtual public viewing through the District’s page beginning at 6:30PM. Additionally, the meeting will be recorded and subsequently transcribed. For more information, including an archive of previous livestreams, a schedule of upcoming meetings, and BOE contact information, please visit the IRCSD Board of Education page at ircsd.org.

Anyone wishing to speak with the Board of Education may do so in accordance with Board Policy 1230: Public Participation at Board Meetings.
