Robert T. Sataloff, MD, professor and chair of the Department of Otolaryngology, will receive the The National Association of Teachers of Singing (NATS) Lifetime Achievement Award on Monday, July 6, in San Antonio, Texas. One of the founders of the field of voice medicine, Dr. Sataloff authored the first modern comprehensive article on care of singers, and the first chapter and book on care of the professional voice. The award recognizes his contributions to voice through pedagogy, research and leadership.
