The Neighborhood Literacy Fund supports community-driven solutions to the early literacy crisis by awarding up to $2,000 for projects that help grow Philadelphia’s young readers.

On Saturday, March 25th from 9am to 3pm Philadelphia Home & School Council, El Comite Las Trabadoras, Parents United for Public Education, West Philly Coalition for Neighborhood Schools, Office of Councilmember Kendra Brooks and Our City Our Schools coalition will be co-hosting Parent Summit 2023: Gardening Our Future. We hope to Connect with, Learn from, and Support one another that day and beyond as parents and caregivers across Philadelphia who are working every day to support their schools and young people across the city. Education is power!
