STEP was created by Wharton Undergraduate Division Associate Directors, Ufuoma Abiola and Teran Tadal, to help historically underrepresented single-degree Wharton students successfully acclimate to the Wharton environment and college life. Wharton Equity, Diversity and Inclusion Week 2021 Sign Ups Wharton Equity, Diversity and Inclusion Week is the actualization of WEDIG's mission to create a more equitable, diverse, and inclusive space for everyone. The week will be filled with student speakers, diversity, equity and inclusion workshops, and even a cultural talent show! And all these events....

Wharton STEP won the 2018 Outstanding Four-Year Institution Program Award from the American College Personnel Association (ACPA) - College Student Educators International. Wharton STEP creators, Ufuoma C. Abiola, Ed.D. and Teran R. Tadal, M.S.Ed., received this award during the 2018 ACPA Annual Convention in Houston, TX.
