Announcing a Temple Dance @50 Project

Alumni Film and Media Online Festival
September 2024 – April 2025

Do you have a dance film or other visual medium dance work that you would like to share with the Temple Dance community and beyond – alumni, faculty, students, staff (past, present, & future), friends and family???

We are looking for:
1) videos of your produced choreographic works
2) your “screendance” works (i.e., made for the screen)
3) documentaries you have written, directed, produced and/or featured in
4) teaching videos
5) other visual media you have created (e.g. slide show of 2D/3D visual artwork)

Each month, starting in September, we will screen a program from alumni who graduated in a specific period:
September – 1970s and 1980s alumni work
October – 1990s
November – 2000s
January/February – 2010s
March – 2020s

Submitted work does not need to have been created during the decade of your graduation. Anything you’ve created in the last 50 years is welcome.

How to submit:

Congratulations to Abby Zbikowski (BFA, 2006) on being named a 2024 Guggenheim Fellow in Choreography!

Abby is the third Guggenheim Fellowship in a row awarded to a Temple Dance alum: 2022 Silvana Cardell (MFA, 2005), 2023 Jumatatu Poe (MFA, 2007).

Come on out to see our 'about to be' alumni choreographers - the Spring BFA Senior Concert is this weekend. Can't attend in person? The show will be livestreamed on Friday at YouTube.com/boyercollege (7:30 pm).
