This opportunity:
Role requires a high-level of service excellence, as well as an ability to effectively manage and address customer inquiries via telephone and email. This role will have accountability to support multiple functions to ensure successful customer experience - from order to product delivery, with support of a collaborative team. There is opportunity for expanded responsibility and career growth based on individual performance. Some travel may be required.
Responsibilities and Expectations
Quickly and effectively manage customer orders, inquiries and service issues via phone and email
Support internal sales team and external distributors with operational tasks, including:
Ordering process to ensure the distributors receive the product necessary to support our joint selling efforts
Work with the distributors to construct and process orders
Manage new customer intake
First point of contact, with a 'warm' hand-off to Account Executives; must be well versed in product, procedures and company policies
Provide daily/weekly recaps to Director of Sales on prospects and customer service issues
Identify and qualify new leads to pass on to Account Executives
Requirements
Strong team player
Highly organized and detail-oriented; Ability to follow-up and complete assigned tasks accurately and on time
Hardworking, driven and eager to take initiative with the ability to prioritize and multi-task
Strong customer service and relationship building orientation
Positive and energetic personality with problem solving capabilities
Excellent communication skills
Desire to learn and grow within the position
Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint Outlook)
CRM experience a plus
We all work separately in a large office area. If candidates have not been vaccinated, they must wear a mask at all times. We have hand cleaning stations throughout the building.

Executive Apparel is a leading supplier of wholesale apparel and uniforms to the promotional products & ad specialty industries as well as the hospitality industry, corporate & small business and schools from Pre-K to College. We’ve got hundreds of styles in our design archives for custom programs and a warehouse full of in-stock styles to choose from for immediate orders.
Executive Apparel began in 1934 sewing suiting for retail and leather police uniforms with Joseph Singer at the helm. At the time Philadelphia was home to hundreds of apparel factory workers, many of them immigrants who had recently entered Philadelphia through the ports of the city to start new lives in the United States. Executive Apparel evolved into a suiting supplier as uniform trends changed. In the early 1950s Joseph’s sons Richard and Charlie Singer took over and further refined the business model while many popular suiting manufacturers like Botany 500, After Six and Stanley Blacker made suits in the same neighborhood.
Donald and Robert Singer learned about the custom apparel business from their father Richard and took over as partners in 1985. For the next 15 years the two worked together to grow Executive Apparel as uniform manufacturers and with distributors and buyers throughout the country. In 2000 Donald Singer became CEO when Richard left to pursue other interests. Donald Singer, with plenty of industry history to draw on, is never at a loss for ideas about his business and has his sights set firmly on the future.
