It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of our brother, Saumil Amin, Overwatch 6.71.
Saumil was a keen and charismatic brother and it’s difficult for us to accept his passing. He was never afraid to speak his mind and valued genuine friendship above all else. His laughter and joyfulness will be missed. We ask you to keep his family and loved ones in your thoughts and prayers.
Saumil will forever be remembered by our brothers as part of the Omega Chapter.

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of our brother, Dev Melepura, Enigma 38. Dev has been a loyal brother to us all since he crossed in Summer 2001 at our Epsilon Chapter.
Dev found success in any endeavor he ventured into, whether it was finding his own online dating site in Coffeepass based off his uniquely invented matchmaking system, or in his writing, publishing Cupidverse: The Retelling. It is always hard to say goodbye to such a unique, talented, and innovative brother like Dev.
We ask for you all to keep his family and loved ones in your thoughts and prayers at this time. Dev will forever be remembered by our brothers as part of our Omega Chapter.

🔥🐅T-3 days till Founder’s Day…🐅🔥
Dr. Chetan Pasrija and Dr. Aakash Shah are both residents at the highly prestigious University of Maryland Medical Center (UMMC) Integrated Cardiothoracic Residency Program. Dr. Pasrija completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Maryland and Dr. Shah is a graduate of John Hopkins University. Both attended the University of Maryland Medical School. Recently, both were part of the historical surgical team that transplanted the first genetically modified pig heart into a human. With the guidance of their attending physicians and help of a dynamic surgical team, the first part of the surgery included Dr. Shah helping to remove the pig heart or xenograft from the XVIVO perfusion box. Then the transplant itself started with Dr. Pasrija playing a critical role. This is a major breakthrough in the field of transplantation and potentially will be able to narrow the chasm between those that need a transplant and the availability of organs. Dr. Shah and Dr. Pasrija have been thankful for the opportunity and mentorship they have been given as they train at UMMC. They themselves are humble about their great successes and professional accomplishments, but today we celebrate them and the great impact they have made. It is an inspiration to all of us.
