In this video, Ian practices cleaning his glasses from start to finish, remembering the steps, handling his belongings with care and building confidence with an everyday routine.
These experiences are part of Independent Living Skills, one of the nine areas of the Expanded Core Curriculum (ECC) for students who are blind or visually impaired.
Throughout our new ECC in Action series, we’ll be sharing real moments from OSB that show how these skills are woven into learning, routines and experiences across our school community.
