From day to day, the Compliance Manager will ensure everyone adheres to legal standards and in-house policies. They perform regular audits of business procedures and processes to ensure this compliance. Their key duties and responsibilities can also include:
Analyze internal business systems to ensure compliance with industry regulations and ethical standards.
Create, modify, update and implement the company’s policies.
Develop risk management strategies.
Design control systems to address cases of violation of internal business policies.
Design ongoing training programs for employees of the business.
Liaise with other departmental heads to ensure that all business operations are in line with business policies.
Advise the top management on business operations relating to investment, risks and any other policy development.
The Good school is looking for a Truancy High school Teacher Half Day 730am -1pm to work with regular and special ed students in our partial day school in a less intense class setting. Great for new comers to special education and regular Education teachers in Philadelphia. Students arrive at 8am and leave at 12:35pm
Create and execute individual education plans for each of the students in your care
Communicate with other staff and family members about each student's progress and struggles
Prepare detailed lesson plans at least three months in advance and submit them to administrators for approval
Participate in IEP (individual education plan) meetings as scheduled by the school
Use individualized reinforcement techniques to keep each student on the path toward greatness
Invite family members to participate in each student's educational progress
Create and distribute progress reports quarterly
Confer with on-site therapist over disciplinary and behavioral issues with students
Create a safe, productive classroom environment
Behavior Specialist - is responsible for their formation and behavior while at school and at all school sponsored activities. This includes their supervision, mentoring and discipline, as needed. The Behavioral Support Specialist is responsible for the day to day activities of the school. The Behavioral Support Specialist is expected to provide leadership on issues of student formation, behavior and parent involvement. The overarching goals of the position are to encourage and support positive student formation and behavior and to engage parents in the success of their children.
Bachelor’s Degree in Education, three years’ successful teaching or prior job related experience with increasing levels of responsibilities in a school setting. Pennsylvania Teacher’s Certificate encouraged. (Full-Time)

Bachelor's Degree Teaching Required General Responsibilities The Special Education Teacher is responsible for providing educational instruction to assigned students in a structured classroom environment designed to promote intellectual, emotional and social growth. The Special Education Teacher will develop teaching plans that are appropriate to the ages and populations served, specifically children and adolescents (ages 5-21 years) with emotional, developmental and/or behavioral needs. The teacher position requires that staff be aware that students who are served may exhibit aggressive and/or self-injurious behavior. Students served may have had multiple treatment failures prior to this placement. Teachers are expected to implement highly technical clinical and teaching programs that require teachers to be constantly and ready to respond to student's needs. Special Education Teachers are responsible for the development and implementation of all academic programming, as well as clinical programming, of all assigned students. Basic Qualifications Education/Training: Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Education, Human Service Field or Psychology and must be eligible for emergency certification (BA and enrolled in 9 credits per year toward certification). Certifications/Licensure: Special Education certification issued by the Pennsylvania Department of Education. A valid US driver's license and a minimum age of twenty-one (21) years old. Must be capable of attaining approved Melmark driver status. Successful completion of employer provided certification in CPR, First Aid and Crisis Intervention. Skill(s): Strong teaching skills with emphasis on students who are emotionally, behaviorally, physically and/or developmentally challenged. Experience or interest in the principles and application of Applied Behavior Analysis. Strong interpersonal skills are required. The ability to train and supervise peers and ABA Counselors while working within the classroom setting. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Windows Operating System. Experience: Prefer at least one to two (1-2) years experience with specialized populations

Establishes a positive relationship with parents/guardians and students to foster better school attendance

Provides and submits appropriate feedback and data reporting (attendance rates, grades, etc.) to certificated staff,

parents and/or guardians as necessary

Maintains files, reports, correspondence and assessment information as identified for all students in need

Confers and works with other professional staff members (case managers, school counselors, etc.) in regards to

Follows up on student absences from school as part of implementing the district attendance policy
•
Works closely with assisting child study team case managers, school counselors and administrative team members
•
when parents/students are non-responsive to attempted interventions such as emails and phone contact

Adjust work hours as needed
•
Performs other duties as assigned
